  1. Apparently the Flux light is broken as well. switching from a preset with Flux enabled to one without works fine. However, switchng back to the preset using Flux, Flux still works but the light does not.
  2. Fantastic, applied this mod to my M-audio and it works perfectly. Thanks for the post.
  3. Thanks. Got a request in to open an account there. Will post there as well.
  4. I've been looking for a thread to post my Helix wish list for patches and features and haven't found one, so here goes. EFFECTS AND AMPS: -Blues Driver -Princeton Reverb FEATURES: -Ability to lock patches so that we cannot screw them up (especially when using them as templates. -Disconnect use of expression pedals from whatever you call the function that indicates that a patch has changes that need to be saved. If I use volume or Wah, I don't want to look down and see the little "E". Plus, this disassociation would probably be needed to avoid conflict with the ability to lock patches. -Pedals can be merged and saved as a single unit. So, when you don't make the Blues Driver pedal, I can merge an EQ and another pedal and save the result as a single pedal. Am I asking too much? HARDWARE: An amp control face that can connect via the RJ45 or Link 6 jacks. Whaaat? Yes, some of us like to adjust things on the fly, and you would make more money. I guess I could DIY one with Arduino, but then I make the money. Hmmm. Send me one gratis when you get it done. I guess it will have to have scribble strips to work with all the different amps. Thanks for a fantastic set of products and all the work you do to make them constantly better. l
  5. I have essentially done the opposite. I run the main out from the Helix to the FX return on the MicroDark routed out to a 4x12 cab, and control the level with the Helix Volume. I now have all the amps in the Helix at MicroDark full power level. I'm using a real cab, so I don't use a cab block in the Helix. Sounds freaking awesome and with a 1x12" cab makes for a fantastic lightweight backup if FOH gets weird. The MicroDark has a clean power amp. It is loud, so please start with the Helix volume down and work your way up.
  6. Try a different instrument. This sounds like a grounding issue with the instrument itself. Also, at least temporarily try a ground lift plug on your power cable. Regardless of the DANGER labels, every audio engineer knows that you can't have everything grounded with a third pin and not get noise. Best of luck.
