I was able to download the app and was ready to go then realized I need a particular type of USB connector, I was going to order this one but it didn’t mention that it was compatible with the powercab 112plus, do you guys happen to know the type of USB connector I should get that would be compatible with the 112 plus, thanks again!

I recently bought a powrecab 112 plus, it has firmware 1.1, does anyone know if/how to find the 2.0 firmware update on line 6 website? Thanks

Thank you everyone!

Thanks Silverhead!

I realize due to copyright etc. that line 6 uses different names within the Firehawk for amp and amp head selection, does anyone know if there is a cross reference on line showing for instance that the Super lead 100 is based on the Marshall model 1959, and the Britt is a Marshall 4x12 cabinet, I came across this in the custom tone area of Line 6 website and I assume that is what they are cross referencing there. ??

I’m wondering if anybody knows how to create a tone with the Firehawk FX that is in alternate tunings. I found a tone on the line 6 cloud that was a half step down, ( I was happily surprised that it actually worked), which I use when practicing/playing along to pride and joy, Stevie Ray Vaughan, but I’m wondering if anybody knows how I could set them up on my own, maybe somebody out there knows a YouTube video I could watch for it, I can’t find anything as of yet, thanks

I bought the Firehawk FX about 8 months ago and I love it, after I downloaded the app on my iPhone It took me about 3 hours on a Saturday to get up to speed with using it. Regarding lag time when switching from tone to tone: I spoke to one of the guys at guitar center who has a Helix, he told me it has a lag time as well when switching tones. I love that when you sync your music from your smart device (iPhone for me), you can play a song and have usually at least 15 tones or so (from the line 6 cloud) that others have created which are close and sometimes a match for the guitar tone of the song you are playing, I also love that you can store an unlimited amount of tones on your “tones” setting. I got together with my sound guy (our bass player) in our band and set up all my tones so that I can push the volume/wah pedal down (forward) to boost the tone to a “lead volume”, this way if we’re playing a song like Hard To Handle (Black Crows), when I play the lead I just push the pedal down, you can use the foot switches on the 2nd row as well but I prefer just pushing the pedal down, less fumbling around in my case. Our band plays out once a month or so, I’ve used it for the last 5 gigs and I’m not going back to my previous set up (stomp box board). Bottom line for me is it has everything I need tone wise and operational wise, I’ll use it until I’m forced to upgrade (much like with my iPhone)... which hopefully won’t be for a few years at least. There are a lot of other great features I like about the fhfx, such as the ease of practicing, (plug your headphones into it sync your phone and run through your bands set/playlist), all without disturbing anyone else in the house. I could go on, but you all get it, I’m a fan of the FHFX.

Thanks guys, I finally got it, I realize now that I can only change 3 boxes within the chain, however I can have either 3 drives, 3 mods, 3 delays or 3 synths or a combination of any of them that equal 3 in the same chain, I also see I can’t change the compressor, reverb, wah, equalizer, looper or effects loop to anything other than what they are, I wasn’t pulling the trigger on the last step, which was simply choosing one of the “pedals”, thanks again!

Thank you for hanging in there with me Silverhead, I do everything that you described above, the problem is when I go to put it in F1, F2,F3...etc. (so I can have multiple delays to turn on or off within the same tone), instead of keeping the delay I already have and letting me add another one it just replaces the one that’s already set up and moves it to the location I determine:F1,F2,F3... I’ll use the downloaded photo as an example, I’m talking about delays, however , this example shows stomp boxes if you notice there are two stomp boxes next to each other, that is what I’m trying to do only with delays, although once I figure it out I’m sure I will add multiple stomp boxes to one tone... again thanks for hanging in there!

Hey guys, I do not have an option page up in the left-hand side when in the fx models, any other ideas? If you look at the picture I uploaded you’ll see they have 2 stomp boxes, ultimately that is what I’m trying to do, maybe put a delay but then a more extreme delay in the same tone, with The option of clicking them on and off via F1 thru F5

Thanks guys

Does anybody know how to set up two different delays on the same tone, When I try to do it it only moves the original one to another place, for instance if it’s already set up for delay on F1, when I choose a second delay I would like to put it on F2 and keep the original one in tact on F1, but it won’t let me do that, I know there’s a way of doing it, I just don’t know what it is?
