  1. Thanks for the quick response. I am using pod go edit (1.40), I couldn't download 1.41 because Im running windows 7, my problem is more towards the format the IR is after I download it to my computer, Voxman55 you mentioned having the IR as a .wav file, they do have .wav after the IR, but when I try to drag them into the pod go I still get the circle with the line thru it and it wont go into the IR section of the pod go, maybe I should I download a different type of wav file software to convert the IR?
  2. What software is best to use for easy downloads of purchased IRs into my pod go? I tried 1 online but cant get them into the IR section of my pod go. any recommendations? TIA
  3. I just noticed that when I am playing wireless through my pod go, some of the tones I have on my user side of the pod go have no volume, although the tones that I use all the time that are set up for The Band that I am in work just fine, probably an easy fix, anybody experienced this before? I should mention that if I hard wire my guitar in they all work.
  4. Thanks Silverhead And Voxman55, you guys are awesome, you were both right, I hit the DSP wall, I looked into the DSP limits when I made the choice to buy the pod go instead of the helix, or the helix hx, and I recall it saying something to the effect that the DSP chip was 85% in the pod go as compared to the helix (100%) I forgot about that aspect of the pod go , I didn’t think it would be a big deal, and to be honest -it’s not, I play out about once a month and the pod go will fit all my needs for bar room gigging. Voxman55 thanks for the link, and I will definitely watch some more videos, I’m just more of a hands-on guy, and it is easier for me to ask a question on the forum when I run into a problem, I feel like I have a good handle on the pod go at this point, but knowledge definitely is power, as it turns out, my ( beach balls) were too big, lol
  5. While trying to add some reverb to one of my tones, I found that I can’t access all of the different pedals within the pod go, for instance I accidentally switched out my distortion pedal, I had it on the screamer pedal, then I cannot get it (Screamer pedal) to highlight so I can click back on it and included within the chain , I may have done something within the global settings I was wondering if someone could help?
  6. Can different amp models be used within the same snapshot of a tone? for example, for the song creep by Radiohead I would like a nice clean tone with some Chorus and delay within Snapchat 1, then kick into that obnoxious distortion which I would set up on snapshot 4. I found a good clean tone to use for snapshot one and then I have a good distortion tone for Snapchat 4 but they use different amps...
  7. Thanks voxman55, as it turns out I was not holding them down for a long enough time.
  8. Thanks for responding Silverhead, I did update to the latest software, it took me a bit to do that too, lol, but I did make it happen, i’m running 1.3 software, I did it about two weeks ago, before I had this problem, I may just do a factory reset as I really don’t have anything worth saving yet...
  9. I just got my pod go, love it so far but in the toying around with it stages to figure it out and reading the manual and looking online at the forum of course, for some reason I cannot get out of snap shot mode, when I press the mode/edit/exit switch it still does not bring me back to the factory presets where I can page up and down from one through 32, I don’t think I saved anything in a manner that would make this happen has anybody run into this and do you know how I can get back to the factory presets?

    Helix app

I currently own a Firehawk, and have generally been happy with it and the tones, however I recently decided to upgrade to the helix LT. my question is this, is there a helix app where I can link up via Bluetooth to the helix LT which would be similar to the Firehawk app? I did not see it within the App Store but maybe I’m not wording it correctly...
  11. Thanks again somebodyelse! you promted me to give it another try (AFTER A WEEKEND OF TRYIN), your second sentence struck a chord with me... I realized that the powercab EDIT was a different animal all together with, so I downlowded the first thing that came up on the options of downloads, which was something to do with fixing bugs on the spider...I avoided this all the other times because it didn't mention the 112 powercab- go figure, I gotta wonder why when you go to download the line 6 updater it doesn't just direct you to that, but I don't f'in care at this point because I was finally able to update my powercab software to the 2.00 version and I download the powecab edit as well.
  12. Thanks for your help somebodyelse, i’ve always been a pedal guy up until the last year or so when I bought a Firehawk FX, I have since bought the power cab 112, and it looks like I’m gonna go all in and get the helix as soon as I can afford it without the wife going through the roof, I did look at my printer/scanner/fax machine USB it was different from the one that is on the power cab 112, but that cord that I showed does work, was wondering if you all could help me with one more thing, I downloaded (what I thought I needed to download) that being the power cab driver as well as Power cab edit 2.0 also, however, when I scroll down to the bottom of the agreement (of the 2.0 powercab update) it tells me within the agreement that there should be a place I have to accept the terms at the bottom but when I get to the bottom there is no place to accept the terms so I cannot seem to make the 2.0 update happened within my power cabinet, on top of that I have an older PC, that uses Windows 7 which probably could be the source of the problem, any advice from you guys on this one?
  13. I was able to download the app and was ready to go then realized I need a particular type of USB connector, I was going to order this one but it didn’t mention that it was compatible with the powercab 112plus, do you guys happen to know the type of USB connector I should get that would be compatible with the 112 plus, thanks again!
  14. I recently bought a powrecab 112 plus, it has firmware 1.1, does anyone know if/how to find the 2.0 firmware update on line 6 website? Thanks
  15. I realize due to copyright etc. that line 6 uses different names within the Firehawk for amp and amp head selection, does anyone know if there is a cross reference on line showing for instance that the Super lead 100 is based on the Marshall model 1959, and the Britt is a Marshall 4x12 cabinet, I came across this in the custom tone area of Line 6 website and I assume that is what they are cross referencing there. ??

  17. I’m wondering if anybody knows how to create a tone with the Firehawk FX that is in alternate tunings. I found a tone on the line 6 cloud that was a half step down, ( I was happily surprised that it actually worked), which I use when practicing/playing along to pride and joy, Stevie Ray Vaughan, but I’m wondering if anybody knows how I could set them up on my own, maybe somebody out there knows a YouTube video I could watch for it, I can’t find anything as of yet, thanks
