Hi! I previously used my ux1 for audio recordings only but now I want go get into dj:ing. My problem is that I can't get my ux1 to work with precueing: I can't send one track to the headphones while the main mix goes through the analog outs. Instead I get the same mix in both headphones and analog outs, simultaneously.
I just wanted to check: are any of you familiar with if it is possible to send one track to the analog outs and another one to the headphones in UX1? If it is indeed possible, I will keep on troubleshooting.
I'm using ableton but I can choose only 1/2, 1 or 2 as cue out or master out, so the UX1 isn't made for using headphones as a separate output? Whatever I choose I can't hear a separate track in my headphones. In the output config there are two alternatives available: "1 (mono) & 2 (mono)" and "1/2 (stereo)". I have chosen all as active. I guess if the headphones of the UX1 would have been fabricated as a separate output, then the output config would've said: "1 (mono) & 2 (mono)", "1/2 (stereo)" and "2 (mono) & 3 (mono)", "3/4 (stereo)"? Am I right? So I'd have to buy another external sound card to be able to precue while dj:ing?
