  1. no we don't need to , but i want to because of back-up reasons , so we still dont know how to get around this so called safety sh*t and which program is responsible for this paranoia settings. So what to do ? because i have only one pc left which is still capable to download it , and i dont like that kind of constraints on any of my pc's, i want to be boss over my pc and its so called safety settings, not some ai programm thnx in advance dori
  2. Anyway , since my last update to 2.90 i have to say i didn't notice it lost it's connection anymore , how about your setup ?
  3. You probably 100 percent right , it is indeed the trigger problem which we dont have on a keyboard indeed (key-on signal) , well thats a pity for me , but hey life goes on :) . But thnx anyway for your help and your idea with the autoswell , i wasn't aware of that option either yet , and it is also a wanted option dori
  4. Dear qwerty42 , Well i tried the patch a minute ago and played with the settings a bit , but the problem with this patch is that once the tremolo starts on the first note the next note will start at once tremoloed in stead of delayed , see my point ? Thats why it has to be in the tremolo and vibrato i guess. Anyway thank you again for trying to help ! much appriciated dori
  5. Thank you for responding I will try it this way , but i still think it is strange the helix hasn't a delay on the tremolo and/or vibrato which i prefer and hope line6 will add. anyway thnx for your time and efforts
  6. Hi all , I tried to find a (pre) delay setting on the vibrato and/or tremolo effects , but still not found it. On my keyboard i have guitar sounds with this and it really sounds great , the tone starts normal and after an adjustable time , the vibrato or tremolo comes in and i would like this to have that on my guitar too (it does also spare the whammy bar and tuning). is there already a way to do that and i missed it , and if not , is it a big problem to create such a thing for line6 helix with already existing tremolo and/or vibrato effects? thnx in advance dorialo
  7. Yeah it must be , i have the same issue from the day i bought the helix..... It seems to be the quality of the USB cable , but the strange thing is that when i reconnect the usb cable for two or three times or restart the helix it stays connected....but it is very annoying every time you start. I also suspect ground loops because of the power supplies in desktop pc's , they are really a pain in the a** sometimes and in combi with a (too) long low(er) quality usb cable , signals can be easily corrupted. greetings dorialo
