  1. I started this topic and I had the one that wasn't overheating and I thought I should update the firmware, mistake. Now it's all tweaked with it giving me solid red on the receiver and flashing red on the transmitter. When I first bought it, all the lights were working like it says in the booklet. You'd have green lights on the left to tell you how much charge and streaming flashing green lights on the receiver, that would stop rolling when it was charged. With lithium ion batteries, you want to turn off power asap or it will shorten the life of the battery. You can charge it at anytime. So now I have no way off telling if it's charged and when I just use it , I'm lucky to get a hour before it starts acting up. They sent me one that was already fixed and that's the one I'm talking about. My first one still works some but cuts out when I'm standing in front of my amp. I'm still under warranty and I'm going to be requesting a refund. With Bluetooth, my friend bought a transmitter you plug into amp and another into guitar and it works great. Now this is just at home but I see know problem with the Bluetooth one, and it cost a whopping 45.00. This has been a horrible ordeal and I'll never update anything that is working fine!!! Line 6 is still a good product but they dropped the ball on this one.
  2. After my 6 month old G10 started losing transmission no matter what channel I used, I checked Line6 website and see that there's another fix, I thought cool that must be for my problem. I already had the G10 that comes with the 9v power source, so the overheating didn't apply to me, they said when I called them to check. Moving on I followed the directions and had the updater installed, then the new software. Then I plugged the transmitter in and powered up the receiver and plugged it into my computer via USB, using the cord that came with the unit and it turned off my computer, Twice! Called them and they sent out a new one already with the current download in two days, cool, but when I plugged it in to charge , I came back and the green lights were still flashing, before they went steady indicating fully charged, along with the transmitter light being steady. After 3 hrs and still flashing I unplugged it. I called them and was told that it's caused by the update and use the transmitter light to let you know when it's charged. Also while plugged in the green is flashing 123 and the red is on 1, then three, then two and continues to do this. So anyone else having this problem or any other I didn't list. What sucks is mine was working fine and it just started losing reception periodically, from auto to 1 and so on. Seems from what I've been reading is that there is way to many fixes that seem to be making things worse. Thanks!
  3. That's what I thought but better safe than sorry. Thanks for your Answer!!
  4. This is cord related so I hope this is the right place to ask. Bought my G10S 11/19 and just heard about this. I followed all instructions and everything went smooth but as you can see in the picture mine came with a 9v 5a power supply. There is no USB cord. Does this even apply to mine, and if it doesn't then it should be stated in the beginning to save me a lot of time, but I digress. Anyways, if I do need to follow through, what cord do I use? I haven't had any problems, everything works fine. Thanks for any help I can get.
