  1. I received my new unit. This one sounds much better, very little if any of the blown speaker sound I had with the other one. It came loaded with 1.11 so the first thing I tried after checking the sound of the presets was to attempt to download the new firmware 1.12.0. If you read the instructions when it starts it states to make sure your version of POD GO Edit is version 1.1.1. I had 1.1.0 installed so updated it first. The instructions did not mention uninstalling 1.1.0 before updating so I did not uninstall. The new version installed fine. the existing shortcut on my desktop was still there, and launched the new version. The new version launched fine and connected fine. I started the update and it complained about it the GO not being a True S34 or something like that, not sure and I didn't take a picture or write it down. The pedal still said downloading so I was afraid to stop. I let it run about 10 minutes and nothing changed. Shut off the pedal, closed Edit and disconnected the USB cable. At the time I had the pedal connected to a USB hub. This time I turned on the pedal first and let boot (Thank God it booted!). Then I connected the USB cable directly into my Laptop no hub. Launched Edit and attempted the upgrade again. This time it worked perfectly. I would definitely avoid any type of USB hub when doing anything mission critical with this product. Hope this is of some help! Good luck everyone. I really like the sounds and possibilities with this product and hope it stabilizes!
  2. I actually emailed service last night about the possibility of returning it to Line 6 for a new one. Ended up talking to service manager (I think he is the manager) and he decided to take responsibility for my unit, pulled one off the sales floor, and is shipping it overnight. That is why I and my band mates continue to work with Sweetwater. It took a little while but I am impressed with the final outcome! Thank you all for your feedback and assistance!
  3. Right now Sweetwater has the unit and is waiting for a part. Really sucks! Been without it for almost a month now. Guess I should have gone straight to Line 6, but Sweetwater always advertises their great service. Would think they would just exchange it also, if that was an option. Should be under warranty.
  4. I get this straight out of the Headphone output, to a sound board, through my DAW and with 3 different guitars. Using the Factory Presets or doing as you suggested and starting with just an amp and building from there. It is on all of the amps as far as I can tell, with and without cabinets. I have sent it back to Sweetwater for repairs. Will post how things work out. I also send them a recording of several of the Factory Presets with the distortion.
  5. I have been running 1.11 for a couple of weeks also. Tonight alone had it not boot up when I turned it on, froze up twice when I tried to store a preset. Luckily this has happened so much I save almost every time I make a change. I also have problems with all of the amplifier sounds giving me a odd distortion sound when I take the Drive above about 4. Sounds like an amp with a 4 X 12 speaker cabinet with one blown speaker. Almost a rattle type of sound.
