  1. Hi, just tried to update to 3.5 while the update stopped and I got the "Boot Failure, Entered Update Mode" screen. Followed the steps fromSaschaFrank and then got the above screen halfway through the update (on MacOS)...not sure what to do now, honestly. This is my 2nd Helix update that doesn't work - they seriously need to work on this and fix those quality issues... Any help from you is appreciated!

    Big Sur

... at least they support Big Sur, even if it's just Rosetta... reading comments in the forum seems like HX Edit & Logic do not work at all

    Big Sur

agreed, communication is poor, especially after such a long time you would expect at least an update regarding expected timeline of delivery. very disappointing...
  4. well, thats disappointing - is it usually the case that it takes so long to update?
  5. Hi - I am aware of the banner on top of the forum, however since launch of the new OS (and actually there have been quite a few Betas before that), there are 5 months passed by. Any news regarding an update / support for BigSur? Thanks, Mark

    footswitch setup

Hi, I am new to the Helix and got a basic question. Using the Helix on my desk, I'd like to connect a separate footswitch that is on the floor. The footswitch shall do nothing else than switch presets. I am having a 6 channel footswitch from marshall and like to connect. any idea what ports to plug in and what setting I have to make to get this done? Thx, Mark
  7. actually been a little too early - I am not getting it setup. now the sound from the Mac comes up and I can play along, however the Helix sound won't get recorded. I have setup the way it says in the instructions, and always using latest firmware and macOS...
  8. I connected the Helix to my Mac via USB. On the Mac I am playing guitar to as backing track. The guitar sound comes from the Helix, the backing track from the Mac. That's actually a fantastic combo to practice songs. Now I'd like to record those sessions, ideally with a webcam or Quicktime. Quicktime allows to select the microphone source too so you are able to pick Helix as the sound source. However, the Mac sounds from my backing track are missing, since you can only pick one source. How can I get the Mac sound mixed in the Helix and output to the Mac again and get it recorded? Thanks for your support, Mark
