  1. Yes indeed, everything is working just fine now, thank you!
  2. Ok, this appears to be solved. I had an SD card in my laptop. I followed another user's suggestion from a different thread and ejected the SD card, and now HX Edit launches with no problems. Cheers.
  3. Hell yes! That fixed it. I ejected the SD card and HX Edit launched with no problem. I wouldn't have even thought of it. Thanks so much.
  4. The OP mentioned HX Edit in his reply to you, so I suppose I'm guessing that the thread title just has Line 6 Edit confused for HX Edit. I was confused too, the first time I saw it. Either way, it sounds like they're having the same problem that I am. And yes, I'm trying to use HX Edit 3.15. But before that, I had the same problem with 3.11 the last time I tried to open it - it wouldn't launch. I had used it on this computer plenty of times before, and the computer is working normally otherwise, so I don't know what changed. I figured an uninstall and fresh download and restart would fix it, but no luck so far.
  5. Upload the photo to a hosting site like imgur, then copy and paste the url of the image (not the upload page). It should embed automatically on this platform.
  6. I'm having the same problem, also with a Windows 10 laptop. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the most recent version several times, and it never opens. I'm waiting to hear back from the support team. No idea why it's happening. But I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one.
  7. I just attached two old wooden boards to make this expanded "master board", so I wouldn't have to keep swapping pedals out for different rigs. Now, all I have to do is swap a couple of cables. Guitar patches set up for a Fryette head in 4 cable mode, bass patches are a parallel setup going to two different inputs on an old Traynor head. All of the other pedals are before the HX unit. No midi control, but I have the HX set up to control my guitar amp's footswitch functions. Most of the extras are for the bass rig; guitar could be run with just the HX in a pinch. I could probably get away without the separate OD and noise gate.
  8. I pretty much only use HX Edit to update my HX Effects, so I hadn't opened it in a few months. I tried to open it to update from 3.11 to 3.15 earlier today and it wouldn't launch. Since then, I've uninstalled and reinstalled fresh downloads of the HX Edit installer from the website, done multiple computer restarts, etc, and it still won't launch. I had been using it on this computer with no problems for a couple years. The computer seems to be working normally otherwise. And unfortunately I don't have another internet-ready machine to use, so I'm unable to back anything up. Anybody else have this problem? Any suggestions?
