Not sure if this is an issue with all amp sims but with every amp sim I tried I've had this issue where I can hear the clean DI signal from the guitar under distorted tones. It's not that noticeable but it can still be heard. I made sure everything is on 100% wet and that doesn't fix it.
I have direct monitoring turned off on my audio interface (it's a Behringer UMC22) so it's not caused by that.

In this sample I'm using helix native inside of reaper.
could the cheap audio interface be the problem, or maybe it's something to do with my technique?
