  1. The latest I posted on the db forum for any Mac users experiencing issues with older OS. Yosemite Mac users make note on update. See my prior post for the difficulties updating pod go. It seems like Yosemite and the new version of pod go edit weren’t liking each other. It’s the OS I’ve been using since getting pod go and I’ve had no issues. It appears that pod go edit was not seeing any updates for pod go however. So the pod go looked like it was up to date but wasn’t. I booted into a High Sierra partition on another computer, installed latest pod go edit, and it immediately saw pod go and found the available update. Once updated I was able to go back to my laptop with pod go edit and the unit was fine and updated and pod go edit working as it should. Thanks to all for the tips. They didn’t work in this case but they are committed to my future troubleshooting memory banks. Cheers!
  2. Not sure why software would have a check for update feature that doesn't check for software updates but only checks for firmware updates but that appears to be the case with pod go edit. I assumed the check for updates would check and install software updates as well as firmware but not the case. Also not sure why if that's the case that line6 doesn't prompt one to update said software before updating firmware if that's what's required but that is the case as well. So, edit updated the firmware before I knew to update the software first and now the pod go firmware is up to date, and the pod go edit is up to date, but none of the new features are showing. I do know what I'm doing so I've trashed pod go edit and all associated preferences, restored pod go to factory settings, reinstalled pod go edit, connected pod go, booted, and still no new models showing. I've tried this on 2 different computers with the same results. I'm on a mac. The super annoying thing about this whole process is that a simple message of warning to update the software first could have solved this issue.
  3. When I read in the manual to not use on a hub I thought, is this 1998? Working fine on powered hub here as well.
  4. Messing around with the pod go and wondering about usb recording and reamping. First off, is 48k the only sample rate that can used? I understand the concept of the recording and reamping using usb but is there no way to use the pod go as an aggregate device. I'm on Mac using Pro Tools 10 and have many projects in sample rates other than 48k. I've tried a few things and at this point it seems like using the 1/4" audio outs to my interface ins is my only option? I can split the signal before the pod go and send a di to my motu interface as well as the processed out of the pod go but at that point it almost seems easier to just use the sgear and bias software that I've been using to record. I'm on an older system (PT10 and Mountain Lion) due to tons of recordings started in that format and needed plugins unable to upgrade. I have to use Pod Go edit in Yosemite and use onboard editing if I'm recording in Pro Tools which is a bit tedious but I can deal. Beginning to rethink the viability of Pod Go for my situation. i have an old Live XT that I've used a ton in the past (on records) and a zoom G3 as well. All usable still. Thanks, and sorry for the long winded explanation, just trying to make things as clear as possible.
