Hi all, I've had my JTV-59 for about 4 years and love it. I'd like to pick up a second one, and would like to make it a US model. If anyone has any leads on a Cherry or Tobacco Sunburst JTV-59US for sale, I'm interested. They seem to be very difficult to find right now. Thanks!

Hi all, I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for JTV problems. I've been having a bizarre issue with my JTV-59. Every once in a while when I've been playing for about a half-hour or so, I'll get a very strange, high-pitched doubling "chime" sound coming through my amp. This is especially evident in the acoustic position 5 Gibson J-200 model. It's similar to the sound made plucking the strings between the headstock nut and the tuners. It goes away when I change out the battery, but will often return during a set. I'm not sure what year this JTV-59 is, since I bought it used on eBay. I've had the guitar for about a year, and it started doing this "chime" about 2 months ago. Anyone else ever have this issue? Thanks, James
