  1. Hi all, I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for JTV problems. I've been having a bizarre issue with my JTV-59. Every once in a while when I've been playing for about a half-hour or so, I'll get a very strange, high-pitched doubling "chime" sound coming through my amp. This is especially evident in the acoustic position 5 Gibson J-200 model. It's similar to the sound made plucking the strings between the headstock nut and the tuners. It goes away when I change out the battery, but will often return during a set. I'm not sure what year this JTV-59 is, since I bought it used on eBay. I've had the guitar for about a year, and it started doing this "chime" about 2 months ago. Anyone else ever have this issue? Thanks, James
