I own several Line 6 products. I received Catalyst CX 60 as a gift. Since updated to latest firmware (some time back) the amp is most useful in my home studio the issue has always been Android app. Initially it simply did not work with my previous phone. I have since replaced and decided to see if the app would work for me (Moto G Stylus 2024). The app opens and sync's with my amp. However when I switch to tuner, attempt to save a patch, change cabs and when adjusting FX (FX are to be dialed in...no pun intended) ie delay, I can make couple changes to any/all and the app freezes. This is just an example, as it freezes with any FX. OS pop up "Close App or Wait for app to respond". I have done both. Waiting up to 15 mins. Close app, I can restart but it freezes again. Reboot phone, clearing app cache, uninstall, reinstall, clearing OS cache. I noticed when I grabbed CE app again for this phone, it was the same version as I tried previously. No updates? In all this time? I have none of these issues using my PC. I am forced to use my laptop in studio as running CE on my DAW to avoid resource drain/having to tile over my ProTools and losing KB/Mouse focus on PT. Figured I could try here to see if anyone has insights? A fix? Phone is updated to last version iirc android 15. My Catalyst CX has latest firmware 2.01 iirc. Tried 3 different cables (which all work for a friend who has CX 100 but a different Android device using android 15 tho...

I would like to see how others are managing to split signal path into fx loop and amplifier input. I have long used my amplifiers fx loop for phase/mod/reverb/delay and my Boost/OD into front of amplifier. Is this best accomplished in application for my HX Effect. I was told to look at 4 cable etc... before I set out to experiment I would like to get honest real world experiences either live/gigs or tracking. I spent significant amount of time working with various pedals/fx to get what I want to come out my amps and as I noted above, I like only my boost/OD (occasional fuzz) into preamp and all the rest thru fx loop. There are a couple boost/OD/fuzz on the unit I can work with and would like to use those into preamp/in and all my HX Phaser/Mod/reverb/delays thru fx loop. Have not had the HX Effects very long, acquired in a trade and made sense to give it a try... Thanks for any tips, insights ...
