I am currently running 1.2.1 firmware and a 512gig micro sd card, so my firmware is at the latest and the memory card has been formatted, the 2nd unit was using the 32 gig card that came with the unit but was also in 1.2.1, and restoring from a backup was not an option. The unit said an error occurred any time you tried to factory reset, or restore it from a backup. They said when they replaced the unit they believed the entire system had been corrupted, but besides hitting the limit on the memory stick nothing had changed. I did make a backup and sent it to a line 6 rep, he is trying to recreate the problem, to see if they can figure out what it is tied to, for now I’m just not using those presets, as the unit works fine so long as I use the presets I created. Right now I’m waiting on 1.3 to see if there is a resolution, with the new firmware, and thank you everyone I’ve dealt with at line 6, even with the trouble I’ve had, though frustrating, they’ve been there to try and take care of it as quick and as painless as possible.

I recently had to have a new unit shipped to me, which is my third now, (first was a brick from guitar center, second was great for a little more than a month, but when I hit the limit on the memory card, the original 32 gig that it came with, the unit went seriously wonky and wouldn’t save anything, and the song files in showcase kept showing up even after deletion, on to the third unit). This unit has been great as well, until just this week. I got the John Nathan Cordy stadium preset pack, and loaded a few presets on the unit. The unit performed fine until I switched between one of my presets and the new one I had imported to adjust the volume levels. The matrix mixer froze, everything else on the unit seemed to work but no audio was being output, maybe I’m the only one having this much trouble with the stadium, but I think this is unlikely, it seems more to me like there is a bug in the file management, this would explain a lot of issues with settings not being saved, random logouts, WiFi drops, snapshot states not saving, and the thing in showcase I’m still noticing which is the place being saved for deleted tracks. I’m not for sure about this, but I feel like line 6 should be looking hard in these areas, to fix some of the major bugs, because if my second unit was any indication, one wrong move with memory, tanks the entire unit.

Started having some issues with showcase on Thursday of last week, songs wouldn’t save, that turned into me thinking I was out of memory, (hadn’t upgraded the micro Ed card yet), tried deleting songs to make room but the songs wouldn’t disappear from the song library. The stadium in song view showed there was no song under that title if you went to it. This quickly escalated from songs not saving. At this point I went and got a new memory stick formatted it, and tried deleting all the songs from the unit as well as everything except presets, but the songs still showed up in the song library with no data to play. I tried to do a factory reset but it said an error occurred, now all of my presets had also been deleted like a reset had occurred, and the songs no longer appeared, but now I get an error message when trying to save presets and the mode footswich shows it is being pressed but is not changing. I’ve opened a ticket but haven’t heard anything back about it yet. Hoping someone might respond here for what the error code means (error code -2147476035) this is the code I’m given in most scenarios I also get code -5, and -1 from the editor, when trying a factory reset it simply says an error occurred while restoring factory settings. Please help

This should be a priority, and besides maybe the separating of vocals from guitar, there’s not much that needs added. Auto tune, harmonizer, doubler or chior, and a de-esser, everything else could be pulled from the guitar effects, but it doesn’t seem to be getting mentioned much.

Does anyone use the mode switch for editing, I’m sure this idea has already been submitted but could we please be allowed to assign a function to this pretty much useless button. I own a stomp xl and if that switch was able to cycle from stomp, to snapshots, to presets, it would completely open this device up. I just want the long press to take me to any of these. Maybe I’m just doing it wrong.
