Same issue here with the pickup selector switch on the JTV-59. Worked fine the day I took delivery for about 30 minutes. As soon as I plugged it in to the workbench program to create a custom tuning, the selector switch stopped having any effect on the guitar modeling patches. It continued to work with the physical pickups. I reinstalled firmware twice and reinstalled the flash memory 4 times with no change. Pickup selector switch does absolutely nothing in guitar modeling mode. It feels like it is installed fine, not loose or anything. Pretty disappointed as its not a cheap guitar.
