  1. I have a similar but not exactly the same problem with my Spider V30 MkII. I can not easily switch between "Headphone" and "Line out" modes. Even when "Line out" mode is set up no sound is heard from the speaker when Spider is switched on, i.e. it is working in the "Headphone" mode. To switch into the "Line out" mode I have to unplug the jack from the socket, go into the "Settings" menu, switch to the "Headphone mode", then switch back to the "Line out" mode and only then plug the jack back into the socket. That is disturbing as unplugging and plugging jacks right on the stage can produce unnecessary and loud pops and clicks. Something is not very good with the "Phones/Line out" socket.
  2. I can switch knobs to work in absolute or relative mode through main setup menu. But it seems that when i select relative mode knobs work in relative mode only in AMP section. When i switch to FX section knobs are working in absolute mode regardless of setting set in main setup menu. That is annoying as i need to touch the knob to bring corresponding effect to LCD and that immediately overrides effect level specified in the preset with the value set by the knob position. So now i'm using only navigation knob to scroll through the Edit menu to adjust effect levels. Is there any way to make knobs work in Relative mode when adjusting effect level in FX section? I suspect that current FW version (2.02) simply does not support this feature.
