I have the exact same problem, and similarly, I did not have it with the v3.10 firmware. There is another thread in this forum reporting this problem without a solution from a user with a different brand of footswitch, so it is not ampero switch specific issue. Did you find a good workaround?

I experience the exact same problem with a different footswitch brand (hotone). It started when I updated the stomp xl from firmware v3.10 to v3.15. Before it worked fine. The annoying workaround that I use is to have fs7/8 to switch presets, which works fine for some reason, and use fs1/2 for snapshots.
