Hello Everyone. New here, new to Helix. Mac OSX Scarlet 8i6 Helix LT Logic Currently just have my Helix LT 1/4" to my Marshall and set up my amps and pedals directly on the HelixLT Started playing around with HX Edit. So now I have my Mac Running directly to the Helix so I can do all my program in on the computer and port it over. I also have a Scarlet hooked up to my computer. I was wondering... can I plug my guitar into my scarlet, send the signal to HX Edit and then out to the Helix LT via the USB cable? I'm trying to figure this out and I feel like it's almost working. If I play a you tube video... the sound comes out of my amp. and the only connection is through out the computer to the Helix LT via USB then to the amp via 1/4"... But if I plug in my guitar... no sound. However Logic picks up the guitar just fine. I have input set to Multi in HX Edit and output to set to Multi as well. Any advice? Thanks.

Hey Everyone. I've trying to create a delay effect. I've been using the tessalator and it's really close but could use some help. I want to hit a chord, have it delay very quickly at first, like a 1/16th note repeat that slows down over time to something like a 1/4 note delay and fades out while it's doing it. I can somewhat get this effect happening with the tessalator but I can't get it to fade out. I just repeats forever. IS there a better way to do this? Hope I described that ok. Thanks.

Ok. Your file worked like a charm. So I opened up a new clean file and that worked like a charm too. I opened up my old file and I think I needed to change my input again. It was set to input 1&2 but still not in stereo. I closed it down, reopened it, and it defaulted to input 1 only. So I changed it again to 1&2... and now it works in stereo like it should. Weird. Thanks for the help! Much appreciated.

Ah. I did NOT know that you need to option click the pan knob to get it to work in Stereo. I'll give that a try later today when I get a minute and see what happens. Thanks for the tip.

Hey everyone. Helix LT. I have a really simple signal chang. I'm running USB into my DAW logic. I can pan the guitar signal in logic left and right no problem.... but not with my helix. I have just 1 amp in my signal chain and a stereo modulation block. If I click on the output icon I get the options of pan and level. However if I pan everything left, the signal sounds centered and if I pan it right, it fades all the sound. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

Ok. Thanks so much. Good to know. I didn't see a USB OUT level in Global Settings. I saw an "in" but no "out". I might be missing it. Will take another look tomorrow and find it. Thanks again!

Hello everyone. A bit new to Helix. Just got my Helix LT today. And want to check I've got it set up correctly. I'm running out of the helix via usb into logic. It hooked up with no issue but if I strum my guitar with a clean track no FXs, volume on my guitar is set to 8 guitar I only get about -30dbs of sound. If I throw an amp into the helix signal chain... like a US deluxe Nrm... I only get about max -24dbs signal out of it. Have I limited something or not set something up correctly. The Amp is set to Ch Volume 8, Master 10 and Drive 5. I thought I'd be getting a lot more Dbs... with those settings. Thanks!

New to my helix. Have been following people online learning how to use it. I'm running HX Edit. for my Stomp XL I cannot figure out how other users are getting a second signal chain/processor chain? I'm attaching two screen grabs. One showing another users signal chain and then one showing mine. If I click on the output block... seem to get any options for a second signal chain? I'm definitely doing something wrong. Thanks.

Ok. So I'm still struggling. I've bought a line 6, EX-1. It comes with a 1/4" cable. I've run it from the out of the pedal to the EXP1/2 slot of the Helix. I've set Controller assign for the block to Param = Postion and Controller = exp1 Bypass Assign: Switch = Exp 1 Position 5% Wait: 300ms Global Settings; Preferences: EXP/FS tip - exp1 However just now the I set EXp/FS Ring to EXP 2... and it started working. Why is this?

Ok. Thanks. I thought that might be the reply. I was hoping it would work. THanks!

Hello everyone. Brand new to Line 6 and my HX Stomp XL. Overall, I think I've picked up on it pretty quickly and it's been working great. However, I've been trying to connect my Wah Pedal to the HX. And I cannot do it. I've read up on the manual and been watching You tube videos but I'm still struggling. I thought I would be able to hook up my wah and use it as a expression pedal, but maybe that is incorrect thinking? My wah is a Signature Slash Series. I have the Wah plug with a mono 1/4" cable directly into the Exp1/2 FS7/8. I have power running to the Wah. It has a on/off switch built into the wah when I press down hard with my toe it turns on. I have no input coming into my Wah. My input from my guitar is going straight into the (L)mono input jack of the HX. Here are my settings on my HX: Global Settings: Exp Pedals: Exp1 = Snapshot and Exp2 = Preset Footswitches: I feel like I need to set something here but I don't know what it would be, this what I have. FS7: ToggleExp FS8" TogglEXP Preferences: I don't know if I need to change anything here. For the block... I used the Weeper in the Manual it says to switch Bypass Assign: to None Controller Assign: Param = Postition Controller = Exp1 When I turn my wah on/off by hitting the toe, I get a warning on my HX, That toggles between Exp1 Activated and Exp 2 Activated. I hope this is enough information for everyone. Let me know if I can give any other descriptions. Would love to get my wah/expression pedal working. Thanks.
