You may tap whatever DC voltage that may be available, you just need to use the appropriate resistor in series with the LED. There are many LED resistor calculators online that will tell you what value resistor to use.

Hello all. I'm considering getting either an X3L or an HD500/HD500X. I do have a question though, and I wasn't able to find an answer after searching for quite a while. Q: Can either the X3L or HD500/X do the following? 1. Set up the magnetic guitar sounds on line 1. 2. Set up the acoustic sound on line 2. 3. Set up an expression pedal to pan between the two lines. I typically use only four effects in any given chain, and never more than three together: Chorus, reverb, delay and flanger. For acoustic I simply use EQ without cab emulation. Currently I use two separate rigs for magnetic and acoustic sounds and would very much like to combine the two if at all possible. If you need any further information just ask. Thanks for the help!
