I found a solution. There are multiple versions of Edit on the download page. I had scrolled to the bottom and got v1.10. V1.40 worked successfully, no more MSVCR100.dll error. -

I too am currently stuck on a new Edit v1.10 install. I have run the recommended Microsoft Visual C ++ redistributable, the 64 and the 86 individually and together, still the missing MSVCR100.dll error. Tried a suggested Adobe Reader install, still the missing MSVCR100.dll error. Anyone have any recent success with a solution other than the Microsoft Visual C ++ redistributable reinstall?
