  1. I couldnt find a thread that captures ways that the Spider V Remote app could be improved. As a retired Software QA Engineer for both PC & Mac software & hardware it is my nature to capture 'new user' feedback. Maybe others have feedback too? Spider V Remote version 2.01 feedback (Windows 11) - It would be nice to have this conform to general Windows application design principles -- Use a 'toolbar' ribbon rather than place 'info' 'config' 'Load' 'Save' 'Backup' 'Restore' buttons sprinkled around the UI -- Implement accelerators / Keyboard shortcuts (e.g. Alt-I to open the Info dialog) - Add a 'Help' button somewhere that at least loads an online 'How To' page, at best opens a local helpfile using the context of what is selected in the UI (like opening a topic on the 'Auto Pan' when selected) Create a 'Workflow/Wizard' for creating a new Tone. - Guide the user through a navigation sequence where they start with an 'empty' setup, choose an Amp TYPE then Amp, then add effects, terminating with an option to save/upload/apply Move the Tone Patch management UI into a discreet section. Yes, you can minimize it, but it's really a library management UI that has very little to do with editing the selected patch. Add some context information for each effect when selected: e.g. When I choose 'EQ' show some text in the big empty black area under the sliders that points me to info on how 'Shelf' frequency differs from Mid Frequency. e.g. When I choose 'Mod' then 'U-Vibe' show some text that tells me about the 'U-Vibe' like this "The univibe effect basically modulates the guitar by way of knocking your signal in and out of phase. But at the end of the day, it's not a phaser and it's not a chorus. It's univibe, which is its own separate thing." With a little work, the Remote app could really help guide folks toward a better understanding of how to leverage and operate the huge number of settings available in the Spider V mkii series. I suspect someone at Line 6 has lots more knowledge of all these gadgets than I do and from what I understand the target audience for this amp line isnt 'expert' studio recording artists who are already familiar with all the options. Thanks! MrCrispy
  2. I can confirm this repro is crashing the app on fully patched Win11 system. The above debug suggests an Access Violation. 1) Click Load Preset from Disk 2) Select svl6p file (any will do...including downloaded from Cloud) 3) App crashes/Exits While we are at it...is it too much to ask that the 'Save Preset to Disk' dialog allow the selection of a path somewhere OTHER than the Desktop? Very unlikely that the desktop is where someone wants to keep their preset files OR create a folder for their storage. The standard windows app folder for saves would be <username>/Documents if exposing the path is challenging. Edit: I opened a support ticket, signed up for BETA testing and gave the support team a link to this thread.
  3. Im going to give these a try...since I can return them if I have issues. LEKATO MS-1 Wireless in-Ear Monitor System 2.4G Stereo IEM System with Transmitter Beltpack Receiver Automatic Pairing, for Studio, Band Rehearsal, Live Performance https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B3DR71RY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 On sale 15% off they run $58 delivered and let me use my existing favorite wired headphones or something in ear if needed. It looks like the price and availability of 2.4ghz 'Monitor Systems' are getting way cheaper. I will circle back in a few weeks after I have given them a good trial.
