HX Effects - Expression pedal keeps setting to off

I just added an Expression Pedal to my HX Effects rig and mostly use it as a Volume Pedal. But now when I change presets the volume cuts out until I rock the Exp Pedal back a bit and then put it back in toe position. This is so frustrating. I'm on the latest firmware (3.6). Has anyone figured out how to fix this? I'm using the latest Dunlop Volume (X) 8 Pedal.
