I was referring to the OG Helix, not the stadium. Yes we currently have 13 full setlists, some of them are paid from various artists, and keep growing so more than 1600 presets in total, plus the new that we will create in stadium. We saved some money and we were going to sell OG helix to raise for stadium, but we are having second thoughts. Having multiple sd cards is not a bad idea though.

Well, more folders of user presets would be a nice future addition to stadium. (Is there a way to make future firmware update requests? Ideascale?) Even if that means that the folders are saved in the sd card, and the presets load slower. I share my OG helix floor with my 2 brothers and we currently have 13 setlists in total. About 4 setlists each. We have to import/export setlists and IR's all the time, each time we are going to use the device. When Stadium was announced, and Eric said "thousands of third party Ir's and 127 setlists" we thought, problem solved, finally. We didn't realized setlists would be pointers. I really hope more user presets slots to be added in a future update, that will be the selling point for me. Until then we will stick with the OG helix, unless proxy is ground-breaking.

Is it possible to install the hx stomp XL firmware to hx stomp? I mean, the units are identical and have the exact same processing power and dsp, so that could work. I really like the 4 snapshots per preset, and the view mode of the stomp XL, but I dont like the size of it. I always use a small external controller that gives me 2 more footswitches or small midi controller to access the snapshots, and the size of them overall is still smaller than the XL! In house, I almost always use my Helix floor, but for rehearsals I always get the stomp having less weight and size. Anyway if it isn't possible to install the XL firmware to stomp, could we get 4 snapshots per preset and the fancy new view modes with a new firmware update?

That's exactly what I did too. It loads the preset but only in the snapshot it was saved. It works for some presets that only have one path, but not always. I connect one midi cable from helix midi out to hx stomp midi in. Do I need to connect both midi cables?

hey all, I own an hx stomp and a helix as well, and I'm trying to control the hx stomp via helix's command center by midi. I can set up the cc to switch on a particular preset of the hx stomp, but it switches to the original preset's snapshot that was saved to. is there a way I could switch to a preset and to a snapshot different than the one that was saved? eg switch to preset 1b snapshot 2, and in another cc patch switch to preset 1b snapshot 3.
