sorry for digging up an old thread.... i'm slowly wrapping my head around this. After reading this, here's my assumptions. Please confirm or correct the below assumptions:
With the 4CM, I can achieve this:
Run distortion-type, pre-amp traditional effects in front of the amp (Using amp's clean tone, then stomping "green" button to add overdrive, for example)
Run time-based effects in post using the 4CM as we would in a traditional setup with time-based effects.
Taking this assumption:
I can assign one patch to run traditional overdrive/distortion effects in front of the power amp AND add time-based effects in post using the effects loop - 1 patch, 1 channel?
