Indeed, this has happened to me on 3 of the mics I have. I've repaired them 2 each. It's an engineering flaw. also, the ribbon cable was mangled irreparably, and I ordered a few from Full Compass. Not a stock item, but after 3 weeks, it's on it's way. I only have one mic usable because in it's case the ribbon cable survived. The power connector ripped off, but was easily repaired. The last repair I used cyanoacrylate with sodium bicarbonate on that plastic attachment "bump" where the screw goes through and It's now tougher than the rest of the plastic for sure. We'll see.

I am looking for a replacement ribbon cable compatible with a Line 6 microphone device. The original cable is marked as: KOBOTO E188165 AWM 20798 Width: ~7.5mm Length: ~72mm Pitch: ~0.33mm Conductor count: 14 Type: Flexible Flat Cable (FFC) I would like to know if this cable is available.The ribbon cable got mangled whilst trying to open the battery compartment cover. (it's a long story) If so, could you please provide availability, pricing, minimum order quantities, and lead time?
