Hi all, despite owning a helix for a good few months now I haven't had the chance to mess with it yet and set it up for live use and such (although have used it on a recording already and it sounded great - I get the feeling already that there's much more room to create interesting/unusual sounds compared to the Quad Cortex which I also own) Question please; say I have the Helix Floor set up so that I have Snapshots on the bottom row and stomp functions on the top row (or I understand that If I use Command Centre, I wouldn't be "limited" to having to split 4x4/stop/snapshots?), would I still be able to use the Mode button to then switch to 8 Stomp possibilities? Also, as a side note - am I correct in saying that it's possible to lock the preset up/down and mode buttons so that you don't accidently change preset during a song? Thanks all!

Hi all, new Helix Floor user here (also own a Quad Cortex* and Tone X , but am enjoying the HX Floor; all great units). I previously owned a HX effects and after messing around with it briefly, I was impressed and so picked up my HX floor for a great price and sold the HX effects. When I was updating the HX effects and giving a final test before selling, I came across some great factory presets (one was called something like "scary movie soundtrack" and I also lived some of the guitar synth presets) My question is; is there any way to download the Helix Effects Factory presets and to add them to say, empty slot of my HX Floor? (I note that the Floor has mostly different presets, mainly due to the amp modelling etc) I believe I read somewhere that you can download a file from line6 which is is all of the HX effects default patches and use HX edit to copy those patches to the HX Floor? (if so, can I just pick which ones I want?) Any help would be much appreciated - thanks in advance! *I've been using the QC for recording at home and it's been fantastic, but I think for playing live the switches might be a little too close together for my liking (although HX floor seems a similar distance tbh) and also, the flimsy power supply worries me a bit. I've put together a more stipped back pedal board; Tone X, Plethora X3, etc, and a Wah and now also have the HX Floor (I'll make a decision at some point re; which board between the Floor and Tone X i use live; likley the Helix with additional exp pedal, as could put in a backpack!
