  1. I was impressed by jcub's Chapman Stick playing on his song "Splitting Atoms" (from a different forum), so I asked him if I could use part of the Stick audio on a song of mine; he said yes. I have been intrigued by the Chapman Stick since 1981, starting with King Crimson's song "Elephant Talk". I don't think I have seen a Chapman Stick in person, much less play one. If you didn't already know, jcub has collaborated with singer Jon Anderson on one song, and bassist/guitarist Billy Sherwood on a different song; both members of Yes. Anyway here is our song, that I named "Splitting Atoms or Splitting Hairs", it is the song on top. I have Helix amp modeling and effects on all guitar parts, and jcub's Chapman Stick audio. Please tell me how you like the song and how it can be improved, and I will return the favor (leave me a link if you don't have a recent thread). 2. On a different forum, at least three people asked me to add my male vocals to the song, so that’s what I did for a new mix called “I Really Do-with some male vocals”; it is the song at the top. Whether this newer mix is an improvement or not is purely subjective. Here is my link: https://www.soundclick.com/aaronaardvark
  3. I put a song in my music website called "I Really Do", it's the song on top. Not counting some additional low pitch orchestral bass strings, and an occasional synth sound effect, the first minute is all wagtunes. After that, it's all aardvark. The middle portion of the song has Helix amp modeling and effects on the electric guitar and electric bass. The "electric fretless bass" has Helix effects, and so do all of the vocals. Please tell me how you like the song, and how it can be improved, and I will return the favor! Leave me a link if you don't have a recent thread.
