  1. https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/OG Note: According to an essay by Steve Champion and Anthony Ross, former members of the Crips street gang in Los Angeles, the initialism O.G. was first used by the Crips in the early 1970's; see Champion and Ross, "The Making of an O.G.: Transcending Gang Mentality," written in 2006 and available on the website indybay.org as of 7/12/21. The release of the album O.G. Original Gangster by the rapper Ice-T (Tracy Lauren Morrow) in 1991 likely contributed to the migration of the word from gang culture to more general use.
  2. "OG" is short for "Original Gangster", implying the first series of Helix/HX products.
  3. One option may be to assign a "Mute all" from the command center to a footswitch. Open Command Center, touch the footswitch you want to assign on the screen, select "utility" from the menu at the bottom of the page, and move Encoder 2 to "mute all". This should save you a little time when getting in/out of tuning.
  4. Not sure if something changed on the backend, but you could use the "press/turn" method in the inspector window to assign this value as a snapshot, then change the different values for each snapshot on the volume position (Encoder 1).
