Take a look at the Gator shallow utility cases or some of the molded cases from SKB. The key measurement to watch is the lid depth—you want a low-profile bottom and a deeper top so you can leave the XL mounted and wired. I ended up adding a thin layer of foam to keep everything snug, and it's held up great for light-duty use.
