The full RiffWorks Standard is on sale for $34 at Sonoma Wireworks right now through 12-27-2016: https://www.sonomawireworks.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=10 It looks like it will go back up to $45 after that. It's a fun and creative way to record, although they haven't done much with it in years. Still a good way to get started recording guitar or bass, and it comes with a number of different drum sessions to choose from. And no I don't have any connection to Sonoma outside of liking some of their products.

I will say my recently purchased UX2 seems to work fine on my Mini Mac running Mac OS Sierra. I can't specifically speak to UX1 issues however.
