Thanks, davidegirardi. Yeah, must be an outdated manual - it says "Copyright 2014" on the cover. I tried to do it via Workbench, no luck. But how do I perform a hardware reset on my Variax Standard?

I tried out the Virtual Capo function, with the tunings knob in the DROP D position. Although this preset is now back to actual drop d (via the Virtual Capo), this preset has a blue led color instead of the normal red (pink). How do I perform a factory reset for the drop D (or all tuning presets at once, for that matter).? I do exactly as it says in the user manual, but it doesn’t work. I have the pickup selector in the middle position. I insert a jack to power up the guitar, while pushing down the guitar model selector knob. It’s supposed to light up red (pink) along with the tuning selector knob. They do not.

I have a Variax Standard Onyx Limited Edition on order. I'm confused, what kind of wood is the fretboard? Some say rosewood, others macassar ebony. What is correct?

I have just ordered my first Variax guitar, a Standard Onyx Limited Edition. It won’t arrive here in Norway until may or june, but in the mean time I want to find a case or gig bag for it. Can someone please tell me the dimensions of a Variax Standard? I can’t find this info anywhere o the internet. Length (top of headstock to bottom of body) and width. Thanks, Tom Pettersen, Norway
