Looks like it has an auto-sensing power supply...

Just need an US style cable and you should be good.

My guess is that it would be the monitoring via Logic. Essentially you are hearing the sound of the Pod coming back thru Logic in addition to directly from the Scarlett. Sometime this is called "zero latency monitoring" ...but it means you are hearing the sound twice, a few milliseconds apart.

Try flipping the "DIRECT MONITOR" switch to off.. this is the sound of the POD going into the Scarlett, before it passes into your DAW.

Looks like Behringer MS-20s have SPDIF (COAXIAL) inputs... who knew. It also looks like they will take UP TO a 192kHz/24-bit signal, so you should be fine. The HD500X puts out 44.1kHz, 48kHz, 88.2kHz or 96kHz.

It can be done... but you will need some help from an external switching box like the Voodoo Labs Control Switcher - http://www.voodoolab.com/controlswitcher.htm. It would take the MIDI OUT from your POD and translate the program change (PC) or control change (CC) messages to the switches to control your amp. Not hard to do... but an extra step.
