Connecting a POD XT to Flextone III

Thanks Daveny5, is there a way I can only use the PODXT for the effects and turn of the flextone III effects use the floorboard to control the POD XT rather than the Flextone, I really want to just use the PODXT for modelling. -
Just wondering if anyone has connected a POD XT to a Flextone III and what the best way of connecting these up is please, thanks.
