The mic works fine on my friends set up, but didn't on my KB37. No idea why still.

I borrowed the mic and as far as I know it works. I did get a very faint/fly in distance "test 1 2 3 " when I played the recorded mic test track back. Mic: Sennheiser e945 "supercardioid" Not sure if it's a condenser mic... Where is the KB37 phantom power switch? thank you for you reply.

I can't get vocals to record using a microphone other than very faint, can barely hear myself do a test. sound like a fly in the distance. Sound is static. Any ideas why not?? I am able to record a guitar/real instrument well, connected to the guitar port on the KB37(not mic-ed). GB: --Vocals chosen in info pane --Monitor on and volume maxed --Real Instrument chosen KB37 (Line 6): --Tried Mic 1 and Mic 2 ports, volume maxed on interface Mac Mini: Single Core Any help appreciated. thanks!
