Look in the global settings.  You can set the Expression pedal settings to "Global" versus per patch, etc....

That will make the whatever is linked to the expression pedal go to the current position level when you change patches.

You need to save the preset in the normal state you want it to call up in.  I'm assuming the regular delay on, the other 3 things off.

If you've already assigned control for the other 3 to that button, you have to add control for the original delay to that button as well.
Get them in the state you want them in by highlighting them with the joystick and using the bypass button.  If they're all assigned to that footswitch, they should be toggled between whatever state you have them in.

I'm not very good at explanations, but I think the only thing you're missing is to assign control of the original delay to that button as well and getting it in the bypassed state when the others are on.  Then the button should toggle back and forth.

    Repair Update:
Line 6 stepped up to the plate and shipped my Helix back next day air UPS!!!
I pick it up today from the local UPS store!  That was a good thing!  Saved me at least
4 days of Helix withdrawal syndrome.  LoL!!!
