Hi, I’m new at posting on forums, but I just wanna put it out there in reguards to updating the hx effects to 2.80.1... many people have had issues with “no sound” the issue of the internal master being set to zero. The fix I have found if that occurs during any update, once update is loaded and there is no sound, turn off hx and boot it while holding switches 6 and tap. This will reset all globals and patches and ir’s. When the hx boots the sound will return, then using the editor make a backup. Turn hx off then on, it will lose sound again, then using editor restore the backup. The hx will now work as it should. Seems as to say, always make a backup before updating then after the update restore it even if you don’t have any personal presets saved it will backup the factory patches. Sorry if I posted in the wrong thread, I felt it would help people here.
