  1. Hi. This is my first post and any help is greatly appreciated. My SPVX is connected to iPad via lightning cable. I'm using Auria and I'm happy with it. My L and R outputs are connected (via balanced jacks) to active monitors and I also have headphones plugged into the SPVX. Direct Monitoring is on. My problem is that the sound is output to the speakers and the headphones (might sound obvious but I had assumed the direct monitoring would come through the headphones only and would not come through the speakers unless in playback). Obviously this is giving me feedback and/or unwanted audio in the recordings. The easiest way round the problem is to unplug or turn off the monitors when recording and switch them back on for mixing. However, I don't want to be fussing back and fore with that if I can help it. Any suggestions to mute the speakers during recording? Thanks in advance.
