XD-V70 battery calibration

Recommended Posts

I have 2 XD-V70 handheld mics and they have different battery calibration. With same type batteries there are different remain time on the display. For example first mic have 2:40 left (both battery voltage 2.37V) and second 0:40 left (battery voltage 2.36V). Both last for about 8 hours, but on second "time left" display drop very soon. Then I don"t know, if there is reallly battery empty or just wrong calibration.

Is it possible to recalibrate somehow one mic? Is there any potentiometer or similar inside?

There is no funny to me in the middle of the show looking at the display where red light blinking. Even I"m sure, there are fresh batteries inside.

I"m using Sanyo Eneloop Ni-Mh batteries.

Any advice?

Regards, Andrej

There is no adjustment for calibration available.  Are both transmitters running the same firmware?  Are the battery contacts clean?

I would suggest installing the latest firmware rev and checking again.  It is also possible that you have some hardware issue and the transmitter may need to be checked by our service department.

I bought both mics at the same time in the year 2011 and never update firmware.

Do you suggest to update firmware?

With XD-V75 and USB cable?

Is there new firmware also for transmitter?

A already checked contacts and are OK.

Battery lifetime is OK (8h), the current from battery is OK (20mA) only metering is a problem.

Regards.
