schoenbrau
Anyone know of a way to make your guitar sound like a NES by using only the POD Pro?
Triryche
I'm not sure what effects it has, but you might a fuzz stomp with a synth or octo effect. But this look pretty cool!! http://www.fxdoctor.com/products/8-products/42-8-bit-fuzz.html You might also look into guitar to midi software, there are some free ones that aren't too bad for monophonic, once it is in midi there are tons of sound banks out there to give you that 8 bit sound. schoenbrau
Awesome, thanks man! I've never used MIDI before- do I basically buy a USB-guitar-computer interface and use that to hook my guitar up to my computer and use MIDI software? Triryche
You can route your Pro to your computer's Line-In. The thing with most instrument to midi software is it is monophonic, so it can handle one note at a time, and your playing has to be clean. I stumbled on this, I have never used it though. http://www.amazon.com/Products-G2M-V2-Universal-Converter/dp/B001P7QSE4 Once you have midi you can route it to software, keyboard, or any sound module that is triggered with midi.
