guitartb
When we made the switch to in ear monitors I switched my rig from using the HD 500 in 4 cable method with my amp to solely using the HD direct. The biggest thing missing is the interaction between the pickups and speaker, need to be able to get feedback on sustained notes. To be clear I want something light and small, otherwise I'd just use an amp-have plenty of those in the basement. Something the size of a galaxy hotspot is perfect. Since I'm on IEMs I won't really even listen to the output of the thing and it won't be mic'd up, although I don't want it sound horrible in case I'd want to use it without IEMs on rare occasions. Any recommendations on something like this? Small, light, and inexpensive is what I'm after..
pianoguyy
100% feel your pain. Luckily, for me, the 'rock' music that requires feedback is still using floor monitors... stand on them, make poses, be cool. I would love to see what people have to say for a solution.
