Musicmannetje
Recently my FBV longboard let me down, right before the start of a gig. I have been using it for a long time connected to my POD XT PRO, even during rehearsal of the gig that afternoon. When I switched on the gear, it sounded for about 5 seconds and then went dead. This happened every time I switched on the pod. Unplugging the FBV gave me back my sound, by I could not use it anymore to switch presets. Back home, I connected the stuff again, without any difference in behavior. All lights are lit, except from the tempo, no reaction to pedal movement and no possibility to change patches or stomp boxes. After some googling I found the manual to test and recalibrate the FBV. However, the device does not react to the key combinations to flush the memory (amp1 amp2 pitchshift) nor the ones for calibrating the pedal values. The FBV seems alive but is stone dead. I tried a different UTP cable, but that did not solve it. How can I revive my FBV, or is it a big piece of bricked iron now?
