Noogard
Hey guys!Have a trouble with the Relay50 receiver. Since I've bought this system had no problem ever, even playing at stadiums with any range between receiver and transmitter. But few day ago I had a great trouble. The RF signal is VERY weak. Receiver loses the signal even if I at 1-2 meter distance. Yes, there is NO "eye contact" between device but it used to work earlier. Example: I have receiver in my pedalboard, I can lose signal if I just staying near it, with beltpack at my back... really weird...I use original power supply (tried two different to be sure)It is NOT transmitter problem I think (I use 3 transmitters TBP12 - all of them with one problem) I tried at different venues. I've read FAQ and did everything from there. Only thing I did not - I did not switched my beltpacks to RF1, and thing it is not possible... I tried, but nothing happens, I think I have old ones that work only in RF1 mode.So if you have some Idea, it would be great. I can't use guarantee service because in my country it is impossible at all, so if you can provide me information how to proceed diagnostic by self or some common hardware problem solutions, I'll be happy Thank you. dboomer
It would seem that some problem has developed with the receiver. The only other things you could try before sending it to the service center would be to try different antennas or to flash the receiver with new firmware. Sure, I've tried with other antennas (but I'm not sure that is half-wave, I don't know how to check) And I've checked, my transmitters have 1,04 version, so yep, I'll try to find someone with xd-75 to update my stuff... Opened the receiver box - nothing strange there, no capacitors blowed or something like this... sending to service is too expensive... equal to buy new one unfortunately =( There are points at the plate to check some things like - signal tip, power tip etc... so may be support will consult me how to check hardware problems by self, otherwise - it is really too expensive to use Line6 for wireless, had sennheiser ew-300 for 7 years and NEVER had any problem with it... but the sound sucks you know ))))
