Riesenberger
Hi I recently purchased a second hand '08 Macpro (with 2.4 intel Core 2 duo & 6gb ddr3 ram) and am currently trying to install POD Farm 2 for my POD Studio UX2 and I keep getting this error every time I attempt to install the software: "The installer could not create the folder /private/tmp/POD Farm 2.pkg.1683mjs3Mh" I get pretty much the same error when I attempt to install Monkey as well ... The specs on this comp are sufficient to run the software, but I don't understand what's going on, can anyone relay some advice? Many thanks
TheRealZap
go to the disk utility and repair permissions, make sure that you're logged in as an administrator account and try again.
Riesenberger
Hi Guru, Thanks for the reply. I repaired permissions, an now im getting an error saying "The installer could not extract files from the package for Line 6 Midi Driver. Contact the software manufacturer." Any idea as what this might pertain to? Thanks again
TheRealZap
sounds like possibly a bad download. try downloading the driver package on its own outside of the pod farm installer: http://line6.com/software/
