madkobra Posted June 13, 2015 Share Posted June 13, 2015 Hi guys i have a spider 4 15v. I bought a cable to use my phone as a playback device. It works but there is a problem. The playback sound is so low compared to guitar's sound. I have my phone's sound level max and its still low. I need to use my guitar at minimum sound possible(the knob on guitar) and when i do that guitars sound gets bad. And my second question is do i get background noise at high sounds levels of clean and crunch tones because my amp is only 15 watts? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
fflbrgst Posted June 15, 2015 Share Posted June 15, 2015 On the phone's sound - make sure you have the correct adapter cable to plug into the amp - the end that plugs into the ampshoudl be a stereo (3 conductor) 1/8" plug. Noise - any noise you get would be attributable to the guitar and pedals you have on the input side - the amp itself doesnt' make any apprecialbe noise.
