bregulan
Hi everyone, I just bought my Studio UX1 to practice guitar and record some stuff with my Mac. But there is already the problem with just playing over the UX1 ... If I put in my e-guitar i can rarely get an input signal. When I now set my own amp settings and put a lot of gain and volume in I can easily play and get a bright and clear sound. But when I load the presettings there's nearly no sound at all. I can only hear something when I set the output and speakers on maximum (same with headphones). It feels like there's no gain and destortion in the sound, it overall sounds extremly flat. The problem is less consistent when I put in my acoustic guitar with an active battery pickup, but it's still there. So what am I doing wrong? There is no input regulator just the 'tone direct' banner. The input signal is maybe 1-2 green bars. Even if I set gain and volume higher in the presets it gets only slightly louder. My system: Mac Book Pro (from 2009), OS X 10.9.5, Pod Farm Version 2.58.0 x64, standard license Thanks for your help!

BillBee
Try going into Pod Farm and clicking the +16 (or 18 or something like that) db button, should be in the mixer view. Don't have PF with me so I am guessing where it is. But if I remember right this helped me with the UX2. Some amps need to be cranked to get the levels up. Hope that does the trick. -B
