Gene1000
Hello all, I have a Pocket Pod and I love it. Recently I connected the Pod to my Windows 7 PC via its USB port. The Pod is indeed recognized in my "Device Manager" but does not show up in any recording programs such as Audacity, Mixcraft, etc, nor in the "Explorer" window. My question is: what is the USB-Pod connection used for? Can I record directly from the Pod to the computer via the USB connection? If not (which is what I assume, since I've always used an interface with it), what is the purpose of the USB connection? Thanks for your help. silverhead
You can't record directly with the Pocket Pod. The USB connection is used for the Vyzex Editor and librarian program, which allows you to backup and download tones between your computer and the device. Gene1000
OK, thanks. I was aware that I need an interface to record with the Pocket Pod and I use a couple of different ones....IRig and M-Audio. As far as the Vyzex Editor and librarian program, is this something I can download and if so, is there a cost? Thanks for your help.
silverhead
No cost. You can get it in the Downloads section of this website (under the Support tab at top of this page). It will appear as a selection in the Software field.
