I can't seem to find a price new.. I sold my fender mustang III , So many choices Ive been playing for few yrs and really enjoy it . Am I making a good choice ? thanks.. fflbrgst Posted January 4, 2016 Share Posted January 4, 2016 Can't really comment on Canadian prices, but that seems incredibly expensive for an old used amp! A search on Guitar Center's web site shows used heads going for $120- $190 US. Spider IV 150HD heads are going for a little more, $200- $230 US. If this is the 150 2x12 combo you are talking about, the used sell prices are around $300 US. I would strongly advise against buying an old Spider 3 amp at this time - they are at least 6 years old and the modeling on the Spider 4s is so much better, also there's no warranty on the used amp (I guess you could buy an extended warranty if the selling place offers it).
