DBort Posted April 13, 2016 Share Posted April 13, 2016 I just purchased a set of OwnHammer IR's and downloaded a set of Free ones from Red Wire. Tonight i started testing them and cant access any of the ones i imported. I imported, drag and dropped them, restarted the Helix all to no avail. ALL the IR's brought into the application are showing under the "impulses" tab, but are not available from the cab options with assigning to an existing patch or a new one. I am using app software 1.10 and firmware 1.11 Any help or suggestions would be great. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The IRs are not cabs in Helix presets. They have their own category when you are selecting blocks to assign in the signal path. Once you have loaded the IRs into the Impulses tab area in the app, each IR is assignable in the preset by using their location/slot number in the Impulses area. So to assign an IR to a preset you first add an IR (not cab) block in the signal chain and then in that block's parameters you identify the slot/location number of the IR.
