I was thinking of trying to create a sample for the intro that I would trigger via midi from the Helix... More on that later... But thought it would be cool to try and just play it. They're definitely using a reversed track. Any one feel like taking a stab at trying to get their helix to do this? All I am doing at the moment is skipping that little intro completely and playing the ... Second ... Intro? Lol I just use a bogner amp, gain around 2, and a high pass low pass eq block for the intro. Our singer has an effect built into his tc helicon for that and then we both kill the effects when the first verse starts. Would be neat to add that opening part to it without sampling it.
